Set in the green gardens of Amsterdam West, The Unbound is a new independent estate; a boutique hotel with spaciously designed cabins and suites, communal garden, The Unbound Restaurantand our very own bar ‘The Lobby‘. On our estate, visit The Daily (our shop), and relax in our Barrel sauna. It is here where the city meets Dutch nature and architecture. A playground for light, air and space. THE JOB

You will be ultimately responsible for a hotel with 41 cabins.
This includes the Lobby, indoor and outdoor areas, housekeeping and maintenance. You will largely be on the floor to manage your staff and increase guest satisfaction. You will come up with innovative ideas and continuously improve all processes. You make the processes run digitally and automatically as much as possible so that you have more time for our guests. You work in a structured way and keep an overview when the pressure is high.
You have a high sense of responsibility. Problem solving skills, time management, ability to multitask, clear communication and a hands-on attitude are great traits in this position.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Has at least two years' experience as a supervisor or manager in the hotel industry and is fluent in English. Dutch & German-speaking is a plus. An ambitious individual with a passion for hospitality and for people. You have excellent communication and creative skills.
You are enthusiastic, driven, hospitable, flexible with an affinity for entrepreneurship. You treat the Unbound as your own business. You are a true host, talking to guests before, during and after their stay gives you energy. Guiding and motivating your staff comes naturally to you.

- Operational end responsibility for The Unbound Amsterdam
- Supporting the operational team
- Hiring, managing and scheduling your team
- Process optimisation and standardisation
- Organising community events for guests and your staff
- Optimising the guest experience
- Revenue management
- Contact with all suppliers
- Responsible for the Basecamp Tiny House owners
- Optimising the quality of housekeeping and maintenance
